What is high frequency??

High frequency ( or the Tesla Current ) is a facial device consisting of a glass electrode with a mild electrical current that passes through it. When touched to the surface of the skin, it creates a mild tingling “zap” and treats various skin conditions such as acne and aging. It produces oxygen molecules that in-turn create an anti-bacterial effect and thermal tissue warming.

High frequency also encourages blood vessels to push aways toxins and enrich skin cells with volume, while enveloping the surface of the skin with oxygen.

What are the benefits of high frequency in my sugaring treatment?

The oxygenating effect, anti-bacterial, and detoxifying effect can stimulate circulation, kill p. bacteria, detoxify the skin, aid in lymphatic drainage, and stimulate collagen and elastin production.

This helps discourage acne by killing the P acne bacteria (Propionibacterium acne) as well as aiding in the healing of the skin by stimulating collagen and elastin.

All of these effects can not only help with acne, but can help with fine lines, wrinkles, inflammation, detoxification, puffiness, hair growth, and more.

How does high frequency help with ingrown hairs, folliculitis, and more?

Having pubic hair can also mean getting ingrown hairs and folliculitis ( an an infection of the hair fair follicle ). High frequency helps to not only reduce the inflammation of both skin conditions, but has also been proven to kill p acne and s (Staphylococcus aureus) bacteria associated with both conditions.

By reducing the inflammation and killing bacteria, repeated treatments can result in reducing any irritation, redness, inflammation, and infection of the hair follicle post-hair removal.

As always, we recommend you perform the proper after-care to prevent ingrown hairs and any side effects of hair removal.
